Algorithm Descriptions
FIFO
Replaces the page that has been in memory the longest. Simple but not always optimal.
LRU
Replaces the page that hasn't been used for the longest time. More complex but often better performance.
Optimal
Replaces the page that will be used farthest in the future. Theoretical optimum but impractical.
